As a Pakistani-American immigrant, Alyzeh grew up immersed in the rich culinary traditions of her heritage, inspiring her to create health-conscious, small-batch versions of classic South Asian condiments. With Peepal People, she introduces bold, fermented hot sauces rooted in traditional achaars and chutneys but crafted with modern, clean ingredients. Alyzeh’s mission is to redefine South Asian cuisine in the U.S., challenging stereotypes and building a pantry that celebrates and elevates these flavors beyond the ethnic aisle.
